Psalm 19:1-3: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. 3 They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.”

Romans 2:14-15: “(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.)”

Romans 1:19-20: “since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”

Romans 1:32: “ Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.”

Romans 2:1: “You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.”

I Corinthians 1:21: “For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.”

I Corinthians 2:13-14: “This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.[a] 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”

“We may be motivated and influenced by the witness of the church to hold a high and reverential esteem for Holy Scripture. Holy Scripture contains many evidences witnessing to its being God’s Word. These evidences include its concern for spiritual realities, the effectiveness of its teaching on human life, the majesty of its literary style, the consistency, the unanimous purpose from beginning to end of giving all glory to God, revealing fully Jesus Christ as our only way of salvation, its many other incomparably excellent characteristics including finally its complete perfection. We can be persuaded and assured of the infallible truth and Godly source of the Bible through the Holy Spirit’s testimony. Through the effective use of God’s Word he convinces our hearts of the Godly source of the Bible.”

“The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, the native language of the ancient people of God. The New Testament was written in Greek, most of it being Koine`. This language was commonly spoken internationally throughout the Near-east and Mediterranean basin when the New Testament was written. Both Testaments are authentic manuscripts being directly inspired by God and kept unadulterated and reliable through the centuries by his overseeing care. Consequently, the church must appeal to the Scriptures in all controversies about faith.”

The ancient Hebrew and Greek languages are not understood by most of God’s people. Having the right of access to God’s Word, interest in the Scriptures and a command from God in awe and obedience to read and study them, the biblical text shall be translated into the most commonly used language of every people. With God’s Word available and abundantly nurturing everyone, we may acceptably worship Him. Through the endurance of faith and the comfort of Scripture all may have hope.
