Romans 8:30: “And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”

Romans 3:24: “and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

Romans 4:5-8: “However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. 6 David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: 7 “Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”

II Corinthians 5:19: “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.”

Romans 3:22, 24-25, 27-28: “ This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile…24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished…27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. 28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.”

Titus 3:5: “…he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit…7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”

Ephesians 1:7; “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace…”

Jeremiah 23:6; “In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The Lord Our Righteous Savior.”

I Corinthians 1:30-31: “It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

Romans 5:17-19: “For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! 18 Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.”

From eternity god chose to justify all of the elect. Jesus Christ, at the time of God’s choosing, died for our sins. He rose again for our justification. We do not experience actual justification before God until the Holy Spirit at the right time applies the work of Christ to us.
